Former Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock expects Wilfried Zaha to make an instant impact at Manchester United.

Zaha will not be featuring for Crystal Palace in their return to Premier League. Instead, the Englishman will be turning out for title holders Manchester United after agreeing a move to Old Trafford in January.

Although sources close to Palace have indicated that manager Ian Holloway would like for the Red Devils to send Zaha back on loan to his side, Warnock told talkSPORT that the 20-year old's recent performances should be sufficient to convince United boss David Moyes to award Zaha a place in his squad.

"I don’t think they would have won [the Championship play-off final] without Zaha, every time he got the ball you always thought something was going to happen. That’s what he has been like most of the season. He has matured," he stated.

"I find it difficult to believe David Moyes, going into a job like he is, will allow a jewel like that to go on loan. I think he will be ready [for Manchester United] straight away."

With Red Devils wingers Nani, Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia largely disappointing this season, Warnock believes Zaha could be exactly what United need in that department.

"I have never seen feet quicker than his. I think he can take the Premier League by storm," he shared.
