Two suspects arrested over thefts of motorcycle parts at Changi Airport public car parks

Police have arrested two Malaysian men aged 21 and 17 for their suspected involvement in a spate of thefts of motorcycle parts.

The thefts took place at Changi Airport's public car parks.

In January, airport police received eight reports of theft of brake calipers.

Police started piecing information by reviewing CCTV footage and ground surveillance.

The thieves struck mostly at night and mainly targeted larger powered motorcycles.

Both men will be charged in court on Tuesday.

If convicted, they could be jailed up to seven years and fined.
