Needy AMK residents receive hongbaos

Three hundred and seventy-six needy residents received hongbaos from Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC Lee Hsien Loong at the Teck Ghee Division Hongbao Presentation Ceremony yesterday.

The residents each received S$100 in cash and a S$50 NTUC voucher from Mr Lee personally, who was accompanied by his wife Ho Ching and grassroot leaders.

Following the hongbao presentation, Mr Lee proceeded to the Teck Ghee Senior Activity Centre at Block 469 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 for its official opening and a “lo hei” session. He concluded the day’s event with a walk-about around Block 341 Market and Food Centre, interacting with hundreds of residents.
