Hundreds stranded after budget airline Scoot hit by flight delays

Hundreds of passengers were stranded at Changi Airport on Friday after budget airline Scoot was hit by more flight delays.

The flight to Shenyang, China, was affected.

Scoot said the aircraft was on scheduled maintenance and could not be released on time.

The aircraft finally departed after 4pm.

Scoot said flights to Bangkok and Sydney will also see delays, after another aircraft was affected due to bad weather in Tianjin, China.
