6 arrested for Bukit Batok murder

The police have arrested six male Bangladeshis, aged 18 to 38, in connection with the death of a 44-year-old male Bangladeshi national that took place on Jan 20.

On 20 January 2013 at about 3.20 pm, Police received a call reporting that an injured man was found along Bukit Batok Road. The man was subsequently conveyed to National University Hospital, where he passed away on the same day at 5.27 pm.

Through protracted and meticulous investigations, Police established the identities of the six suspects. In a series of operations on 24 January 2013, the suspects were arrested at Joo Koon Circle and Dover Road respectively.

Police have classified the case as Murder. The suspects will be charged in Court on 26 January 2013
