This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Singapore JewelFest, Asia's ultimate luxury jewellery affair.

From Oct 12 to 21, 2012 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, this year's exhibition will showcase its largest ever congregation of jewellers and designers from around the world yet, with jewellery worth over $100 million.

This year's festival will feature jewellery pieces of under $10,000 in a bid to make jewellery more affordable. Attention will also be on colourful rare and untreated gemstones as the industry's emerging trend.

There will be two editions to the festival, each running for five days. The first edition will feature million-dollar jewellery pieces and red-carpet worthy jewels by eminent designers and jewellery houses from around the world.

The second edition will begin on Oct 17, with Asia's launch of "Style of Jolie", Hollywood star Angelina Jolie's collection in collaboration with jewellery designer Robert Procop as the highlight of the event. Funds raised from this collection will go towards empowering children in crisis in Afghanistan. Jewellery aficionados can also look forward to a showcase of men's jewellery, from flashy statement pieces to classic items made with precious stones and coloured gold.

The festival will also highlight a series of million dollar creations from world-renowned jewellers including Mouawad. Renowned local designer Ashley Isham will also be giving a sneak peak of his Spring/Summer 2013 collection for the first time in Asia at the festival.
