Man arrested for exposing himself to maids

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with at least four cases of indecent exposure at housing estates in Ang Mo Kio.

In a statement, the police said that several complaints of a man exposing himself to foreign domestic workers at Ang Mo Kio Street 61 were received between August and September.

The suspect was identified following investigations into the case.

On October 2, Sergeant Johnson Tay, who was not on duty at the time, spotted the suspect at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 and placed him under arrest.

The man will face charges on October 4 for commiting an offence under the Obscene Act.

If found guilty, he could be jailed for a maximum of three years, fined, or both.
