386 student athletes from the Junior Sports Academies (JSAs) have graduated from a two-year programme.

Since 2008, MOE has set up 21 JSAs catering to 11 sports such as badminton, wushu, table tennis, and swimming.

A statement from the Education Ministry said a total of 1,217 students have graduated from the four batches of the two-year training programmes offered by the JSAs. Some students have also represented Singapore at regional and international competitions.

The JSAs were established as part of MOE's Talent Development Framework for Sports, which seeks to systematically identify and provide developmental opportunities for talented athletes within the school system.
