Malaysia Super League giants Kelantan and Terengganu, along with LIONSXII, were all handed shock defeats in the penultimate round of the season on Tuesday.

Kelantan, who secured a second straight league title last weekend, fell to a 1-0 loss to Felda United, who are still fighting to avoid relegation to the Premier League.

Mickael Antoine-Curier scored the only goal of the game at the Hang Jebat Stadium in the 34th minute to hand the Red Warriors only their second defeat of the campaign.

Terengganu's inconsistent form also continued as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Johor FC, courtesy of first-half goals from Fernando de Abreu and Shahrizal Saad. The loss means the Turtles have only won three of their eight league games since Peter Butler took over from Mat Zan Mat Aris back in May.

T-Team secured their top flight status for another season after recording an impressive 2-1 win over LIONSXII at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah. Rosdi Talib grabbed the winner for the Young Turtles from the spot in the 71st minute, after a Bojan Petric own-goal had cancelled out Azrul Hazran's sixth-minute opener.

In a heated encounter that saw both sides reduced to ten men, Kedah came from behind to beat Perak 2-1 at the Perak Stadium. Albert Bodjongo had opened the scoring for the hosts in the 37th minute but Hijau-Kuning equalised on the stroke of halftime through a Baddrol Bakhtiar penalty, before Khyril Muhymeen grabbed a stunning winner at the death.

An injury-time equaliser from Pritam Singh helped already-relegated Kuala Lumpur salvage a 1-1 draw against Negri Sembilan, who had taken the lead through Malaysia international Shakir Ali in the 55th minute.

Elsewhere, Selangor surived a late scare to strengthen their grip on third place with a 3-2 victory over Sabah, while Sarawak played out a 0-0 draw with PKNS FC.
