A man was charged in court on Thursday with helping an employee of a security escort and transport service company steal $4.3 million worth of gold over the weekend.
Teo Wen Wei, 28, allegedly intentionally aided Jonas Tan Teck Leng to steal 70 pieces of gold from Brink's Singapore by helping the latter transport the stolen property from Kaki Bukit Road 1 to Bedok South Avenue 2 and Changi Airport on June 30.
The prosecution sought a two-week adjournment to consult the Attorney-General's Chambers.
Teo's police bail was extended. He will be back in court on July 19.
