Fewer COEs available for potential buyers over next 6 months

Fewer Certificate of Entitlements (COEs) will be available for potential car buyers over the next six months.

The Land Transport Authority released quota numbers for COEs for the period August to January 2013 on Thursday.

In total, there will be 3,226 COEs available per month in the next six months, 12.7 per cent fewer than the last six months.

Hardest hit will be car buyers who will have about 20 per cent less COEs to vie from.
