HOW MUCH?
Anzhi Makhachkala will try and tempt Arsenal star Robin van Persie to sign with them by offering the striker a three-year contract worth £45million, according to reports.

The 28-year-old Holland international's current deal runs out in a year, and it has been well-documented that Van Persie wants to see more ambition from the club before penning an extension.

The Daily Mirror claims Anzhi manager Guus Hiddink has been "given a blank cheque to go and sign three world class stars" and the Dutchman has set out a plan to sign his countryman from the Gunners.

It reports that Anzhi owner Suleyman Kerimov - one of the richest men in the world - has told Hiddink the best players can earn over £300,000 a-week net at his club.

"In this summer's transfer period we are going to get a couple of really well targeted investments to build this Anzhi team into an even bigger side in world football," Hiddink said.

Anzi made waves across world football when they signed Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o last summer in a £20million deal.

Eto'o is reportedly on a £320,000 a-week deal.
