Runners can sign up for the race online at shape.com.sg. The event will be held on Sunday, July 15, along Nicoll Highway.
To encourage more women to adopt a healthy lifestyle, a new non-competitive 2.4km category has been added this year, in addition to the 5km and 10km categories.
Also new this year are the male pacers in the 5km and 10km races to motivate runners to meet their goal timings.
The early-bird registration fee is $40 for individual categories (2.4km, 5km and 10km) between April 9 and May 6.
Runners who sign up with a friend during this period will enjoy a further discounted rate of $70 (buddy registration for two pax). Thereafter, the registration fee will be $55 (individual) and $100 (buddy registration for two pax).
All participants will get a runner’s kit filled with fitness and beauty essentials, a limited-edition t-shirt from Reebok, all packed into an exclusive Shape bag. Race finishers will also get a race certificate with their personal timing and a finisher’s medal after the run.
Participants can collect their race packs and bibs at the Shape Run carnival, held from June 29 to July 1 at Marina Square Central Atrium Level 2. Readers and the public can also check out the carnival for the latest health, beauty and fitness products and services.
