Two mobile phone thieves came forward after CCTV footage of them being caught in the act was posted online.
The incidents happened over the weekend at Sticky, a sweet shop at the JCube mall.
In the first incident on Saturday, CCTV footage showed a man taking a mobile phone from the crowded cashier's counter after a customer had forgotten to take it after paying for her items.
Staff at the shop had put up the video of the man on their Facebook page and said the culprit had two days to return the phone before they reported the matter to the police.
The staff from Sticky said that the phone belonged to a student from Indonesia, and that a friend of the student managed to return the phone to her.
In the second incident which occurred on Sunday, a staff member at Sticky had her phone stolen while she was working.
CCTV footage showed a woman pushing a boy in a wheelchair into the shop.
The woman spoke briefly to the staff member, who was distracted with her work, before taking the staff's phone from the table.
The Sticky crew reported that the woman returned to the shop on Tuesday evening to return the phone.
Sticky has also stated through its Facebook page that shoplifters would be handed over to the police, and added that their posting videos of thieves on their page was not a publicity stunt.
Both incidents were also reported to the police.
