Former Singapore Environment Council head Howard Shaw has been charged with paying an underage girl for sex.
He was one of four men who turned up at the Subordinate Courts today to face charges.
Shaw allegedly paid the girl $500 for sex on 30 October 2010 at Hotel 81 Bencoolen.
The others who were charged are business consultant Edward Whistler Goh, ex-UBS banker Buergin Juerg, and former River Valley High School teacher Chua Ren Cheng.
Juerg and Chua, who was also a grassroots leader, face two charges each.
They join 44 other men who were charged on Monday for paying a minor for sex after choosing her from an internet vice website.
The offence carries a maximum jail term of seven years or a fine, or both.
