NOW ON! Scoot promo to Sydney, Gold Coast

New budget airline Scoot has announced that tickets to its first two Australian routes, Sydney and Gold Coast, will be going at $88 one-way, inclusive of taxes.

Those who signed up to Scoot's mailing list would have enjoyed advance access to sale fares prior to this.

The price of $88 is for the Fly package which is a no-frills, no baggage product. Other bundles - the FlyBag and FlyBagEat - of its four-tiered price packages are also available with an a la carte selection of frills.

Fares for ScootBiz, a premium package which entitles the passenger to wider seats, food and 20kgs of check-in baggage, start at $388.

The low-cost carrier will operate daily flights to Sydney and five-times weekly flights to the Gold Coast.

The offer is valid for travel dates between June 26 (Sydney) and June 27 (Gold Coast) and Oct 27, 2011.
