Hard Work always pays off

He is a full-time Police National Service man and a SEA Games 2011 Bronze medal winner.

“When I realised kayaking was something I could do well in, all I wanted to do was to be the best at it. I feel alive after training and look forward to every competition,” says full-time Police National Serviceman SC/SGT (NS) Muhammad Syaheenul Aiman.

SC/SGT (NS) Syaheenul did not expect to finish amongst the top three at the SEA Games 2011’s men’s 1,000m kayaking race.

It was a dream come true for this 21-year-old Serangoon Neighbourhood Police Centre officer.

He started canoeing at the age of 15 and now trains 11 times a week.

However, his talent and accomplishments in this sport would not have been possible without his hard work and time management skills.
