Man jailed for performing indecent acts on teenage sister-in-law

A 33-year-old administrative officer tricked his then 13-year-old sister-in-law into allowing him to perform a sexual act on her using an evil spirits' ploy in 2008, infecting her with herpes in the process.

Prior to this, he touched the teen's breasts in 2007.

The man did it again in 2009, performing the same sexual act on her in the kitchen when the rest of the family were occupied in their rooms.

And in February 2010, he offered to drive her to school, but drove her to the top deck of a multi-storey carpark in Beach Road instead, where he proceeded to undress her and rub himself against her, before sending her to school.

The teen was diagnosed with herpes and doctors at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital also discovered that her hymen was not intact some months after that.

For committing these indecent acts, the man was jailed two years and six months. He pleaded guilty last month.
