Leadership change at Airport Police Division

Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) Sam Tee Cheong Fui has taken over command of the Airport Police Division from DAC Keok Tong San.

Mr Keok, 41 will be moving on to assume the post of Commander at Ang Mo Kio Police Division.

He was awarded the SPF (Overseas) scholarship in 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Engineering) with honours from the University of Cambridge in 1992.

In his 23 years with SPF, he has held various key appointments, including that of Deputy Commander of Tanglin Police Division, 3 Deputy Director of the Policy and Operations Division in MHA, and Commander of the SPF United Nations Integrated Peacekeeping Mission in East Timor.

The new leader at Airport Division Mr Tee, 41, joined the Singapore Police Force in 1994, after graduating with a degree in accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.

In his 18 years with SPF, Mr Tee has held, among other key positions, the posts of Deputy Director of Security and Development in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Deputy Commander of Clementi Police Division and Deputy Commander of the Police Coast Guard.
