18-year-old arrested for burgling coffeeshop

A man, 54, reported to the police that his coffeeshop along Clementi Avenue 4 was broken into on Jan 24 and that cigarettes and cash totalling a value of $700 was stolen.

The police through the investigation were able to place the suspects identity and arrested him around Clementi Avenue 4 on Feb 3.

The male suspect, 18, was charged with Housebreaking and Theft by night and if found guilty can face a maximum sentence of 14 years in jail.
