The LionsXII secured the first point of their Malaysian Super League campaign after a hard-earned 0-0 draw against Kedah on Saturday night.
In front of a hostile home crowd of 12,000 at the Darul Aman Stadium, coach V Sundramoorthy's men failed to break the deadlock against a Kedah side missing several regulars through injury.
The best chance fell to LionsXII midfielder Shahdan Sulaiman, who fluffed an open header in the 22nd minute.
Their next game is against Kuala Lumpur at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Tuesday.
