Last Sunday, a concerned member of the public known only as "jigga" wrote to citizen journalism website Stomp, saying that syringes had been found at the void deck of a block of flats at Chai Chee Avenue.
The New Paper visited the same area on Friday and found a used syringe lying on a grass verge near Block 22.
Residents we spoke to say some of their neighbours could be drug addicts who inject themselves at home before throwing the syringes out of their kitchen windows.
