NSF gets probation for indecent acts with 12 y/o girl

A full-time national serviceman was sentenced to two years' probation on Thursday for committing indecent acts with a 12-year-old girl. Lee Guo Qiang, 21, pleaded guilty in July to sexually abusing the girl in Woodlands two years ago.

The court heard that they came to know each other in January 2009 through an Internet game. For six months, he chatted with her frequently and became closer to the victim under the guise of forming a brother-sister relationship with her.

When the victim was very comfortable with him, he began slowly conditioning her to the topic of sex, her sexuality and physical intimacy.

In some of the conversations, he would tell her that he was watching a pornographic movie and describe how the sexual acts were done and how he felt. In one of the conversations, he asked whether she was a virgin and if she could send him her naked pictures. She obliged.
