A new flyover to connect the Central Expressway (CTE) to the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) was opened on Saturday.
City-bound motorists travelling along the CTE to the PIE can enter the flyover via new Exit 8B, just after Exit 10 into Braddell Road junction. The existing Exit 8B has been closed. Another flyover for motorists will open on Dec 17. This connects users from the PIE to the CTE and to Braddell Road.
Directional and information signs have been placed along key approaches to the flyovers. Traffic marshals and auxiliary police officers will also be deployed to assist motorists over the next few days.
Construction to widen the CTE to four lanes between Bukit Timah Road and Yio Chu Kang Road was also completed on Saturday. Motorists who require more information can call the Land Transport Authority hotline on 1800-2255-582.
