Kadir set to be M-League Lions' assistant coach

THEY were a dynamic force on the field for Singapore during the 1993 Malaysia Cup.

Now, V Sundramoorthy and Kadir Yahaya looked set to become a force off the field as well.

Kadir, who led the Cubs to a bronze medal at the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) last year, is likely to be the assistant coach of the Singapore Lions competing in the M-League next year.

Sources close to Football Association of Singapore (FAS) have revealed that Kadir, 43, who is still under contract with FAS, is the leading candidate among the likes of Young Lions coach Robin Chitrakar and National Football Academy (NFA) coach Saswadimata Dasuki.
