Boy, 14, arrested for molest in Pasir Ris

On Dec 23, a female victim reported that she was molested in the lift of an HDB block by an unknown male suspect who later fled.

The 14-year-old suspect was arrested at about 6 pm yesterday in the vicinity of Pasir Ris Street 21. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect committed the offence after accessing pornographic material on the internet.

The offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354A(2) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 is punishable with imprisonment for a term not less than 3 years and not more than 10 years and caning.
