Not everyone who signs up for fibre broadband will get it within a week of doing so, the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) said on Tuesday.
This, despite the stipulated six-day period that Singapore's fibre-optic network builder OpenNet is contracted to fulfil.
An IDA spokesman clarified that the waiting time is not a mandatory service standard and applies only to the first 2,400 sign-ups Internet service providers (ISP) receive a week.
