Bundesliga: Bayern march on, Dortmund struggling

Didier Ya Konan's late goal completed a come-from-behind 2-1 win for Hannover over defending champion Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga yesterday.

Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa had displayed great technique to fire Dortmund ahead in the 63rd minute.

However Ya Konan scored in the 89th minute, two minutes after Hannover captain Karim Haggui powered a header from a corner past Roman Weidenfeller to equalise.

Bayern reclaimed top spot after keeping a clean sheet for the eighth win in a row in all competitions, with Nils Petersen and Thomas Mueller scoring the goals at Schalke.

Peterson - playing in place of the injured Mario Gomez - scored Bayern's first counterattacking goal of the season in the 21st minute, when Franck Ribery shook off Jefferson Farfan's challenge before sprinting from his own penalty area to set the 22-year-old free.

Mueller made the game safe in the 75th, when he gratefully capitalised on Kyriakos Papadopoulos' poor clearance from Ribery's cross, to shoot low past Faehrmann from close range.
