The 23-year-old domestic helper, who faces one count of mischief, is believed to have committed the offence at her employer's home on July 19.
The court heard that the purportedly tainted water was also meant to be consumed by the 44-year-old woman's two children.
The petite maid is not named to protect the identities of her three alleged victims.
The case has been adjourned to August 23.
If convicted of the offence, she can be jailed up to a year, fined, or both.
