The vessel transported tourists from Koh Samui and Tao, both islands in the Gulf of Thailand, to a port near Bangkok late yesterday, said government spokesman Panitan Wattanayagorn.

At least four people have been killed in landslides in southern Thailand, bringing the death toll to 15 in the flood-battered region.

A Krabi province official says another 10 to 20 people are missing in the landslides from late Tuesday night.
