TICKETS for the 2011 Formula One Singtel Singapore Grand Prix will go on sale from Thursday at 9am.
A total of 65,000 general admission tickets will be issued for the annual event to be held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from Sept 23 to 25.
The early bird phase - from March 3 to May 8 - offers buyers savings of up to 17 per cent for the Republic, Esplanade Waterfront, Padang and Bay Grandstands.
The Stamford Grandstand prices have been lowered by $200 in order to achieve optimal commonality of pricing among the grandstands in Zone 4.
Newly introduced this year is the Group Booking Special, where buyers can save up to 10 per cent with a purchase of four or more tickets in a single booking. A group of eight or more can enjoy a discount of up to 16 per cent off.
The Group Booking Special is applicable for the first 40 per cent of the relevant grandstands' inventory and is available via the official Singapore GP website, ticketing hotline and all Sistic outlets.
Headlining the Sept 25 race day at the Padang main stage is multi award-winning band Linkin Park. Full details of the complete $5 million entertainment line-up will be announced in the coming months.
Tickets will be available for sale online (www.singaporegp.sg), via the ticketing hotline +65 6738-6738 as well as all Sistic outlets from March 3 at 9 am.
