Daniel Lee Yang Siew, 35, was immediately arrested.

The cracked glass showed a fist-shaped indentation. The glass wall area has been cordoned off with police tape.

In an e-mail message to the media, the court’s spokesman said that no one had been injured in the incident. There was no indication of the value of the damage caused.

Lee was waiting to be tried for cheating Ms Vanessa Ho Shi Yuan in 2008, and for threatening his wife Lilian Peter by saying that he would kill his family before killing himself last September.

For cheating, he could be jailed for up to 10 years and fined. The punishment for criminal intimidation is a jail term of up to seven years or a fine, or both.
