Girl, 8, allegedly forced to perform lewd act on stepfather

AMY thought she was safe at home.

She was with her half-brother, who was then two, and her stepfather, 29.

Her stepfather told the children to strip and take a shower, and he stepped in with them. Then he allegedly made her perform oral sex on him.

She turned to her grandmother, whom she is closest to, who then relayed it to Amy’s mother. But when Amy’s mother found out, she only told Amy she would “investigate thoroughly”.

But Amy couldn’t contain her pain any more so she told her school and the authorities were alerted.

Yesterday, Amy’s stepfather was in court, claiming trial to two charges of forcing the girl to perform oral sex on him and one charge of sexual assault.

If convicted, her stepfather faces up to 10 years’ jail and a fine for each charge.

The trial continues today.
