'Clown' fights back

Life isn't always about making money, says STOMPer Dumbo, in response to a mother's complaint that her kid wanted to be a cartoon mascot after seeing some at a PC show.

In an earlier article, STOMPer Wendy said she had brought her three children to a PC show at Suntec for educational reasons. Instead of gaining an appreciation for information technology and its uses, her kids instead said that they wanted to be cartoon mascots after they met some there.

Dumbo wrote the following reply:

"This mother is so shallow-minded. Sometimes life is not all about earning the dough.

"I am currently pursuing a degree and run my own business. I love seeing people happy so in my free time I work as a mascot or clown.

"Next time you see a mascot, realize that perhaps the person in the suit has more of a future then you do.

"A person with a cold heart who looks down on people are the ones who are already ruined, because you have lost the warmth in you." MORE
