
AN UNEMPLOYED woman charged a week ago with cheating a student was accused further of duping 10 more people of almost $10,000.
Ng Sock Kuin, 36, also faces an attempted cheating charge by deceiving a 19-year-old along North Bridge Road on May 21.
She allegedly deceived her victims - five women and five men - into believing that she was pregnant and needed money for medical expenses as she was experiencing a miscarriage, and induced them to hand over $250 to $2,000 to her between April 13 and June 4.
If convicted, she faces a jail term of up to 10 years and a fine on each cheating charge. MORE
