Lorry flipped on its side in Sembawang accident

An accident involving a lorry and a taxi at the junction of Sembawang Way and Sembawang Drive occurred on Friday afternoon (Jan 2).

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), they were alerted at 3.55pm, and sent a fire bike, a fire engine and an ambulance to the scene.

No one was trapped in the two vehicles when they arrived, SCDF said. A man in his 50s, who was injured, was sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The man was conscious at the time, SCDF added.
