Singapore appoints new representatives to WTO, UN and Britain

Three senior diplomats have received new postings as Singapore's representatives in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and United Nations (UN) and as high commissioner to Britain.

Ms Tan Yee Woan will take up the post of permanent representative to the WTO in Geneva, Switzerland, on Aug 11. 

Mr Foo Kok Jwee will also be based there as permanent representative to the UN from Sept 8. 

Ms Foo Chi Hsia will be the high commissioner to Britain from Sept 1.
