Chelsea have opened discussions to bring Didier Drogba back to Stamford Bridge, giving him coaching responsibilities as well as using him among their striking options.
Jay Rodriguez has emerged as yet another Liverpool target from Southampton. They have already signed Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana from the Saints and are keen on unsettled defender Dejan Lovren.
Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has agreed to join Juventus and winger Bebe could be on his way to Benfica says the Mail

Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis, 28, is set to undergo a medical ahead of his £20m move to Chelsea. Atletico had banished Luis to train in the reserves, however Chelsea have finally met his buy out clause, and a move is set to be sealed this week according to the Express.
Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, 27, has given Manchester United a sign that he is ready to join them after admitting he would "love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world". There have been conflicting reports about the future of Vidal but the Independent report the move to be close.
Liverpool could make a £44m bid for Borussia Dortmund's 25-year-old Germany forward Marco Reus says the Express. Reus, who missed this Summer's World Cup through injury, is reported to be looking for a way out of Dortmund after they sold Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski.
Arsenal are stepping up their interest in Southampton right-back Calum Chambers, 19, despite closing in on Newcastle's France defender Mathieu Debuchy, 28. and Manquillo from Newcastle and Atletico Madrid. This could see Carl Jenkinson leave the club on loan with a view to a permanent move.
Tottenham will look to sign Everton defender John Stones and Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin this summer as they look to shore up their defence next season reports the Daily Express.
Manchester City have accepted they will have to sell one of their foreign stars if Eliaquim Mangala is to join from Porto. Financial Fair Play sanctions mean the Premier League champions are now restricted to only 17 overseas players over the age of 21 next season and the imminent arrival of FC Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala will take that number up to 19. Matija Nastasić, Javi García and Álvaro Negredo are all believed to be contenders to face the axe this summer .
Liverpool sign Markovic
Liverpool have completed the signing of Serbian winger Lazar Markovic for a reported £20million pounds.
Markovic, 20, was on Merseyside on Monday undergoing a medical and completing personal terms with the club.
The former Benfica man becomes Liverpool’s fourth signing of the summer following the arrival of Emre Can and Southampton duo Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.
The arrival of Markovic sees Liverpool’s spending rise to around £60million pounds, as they prepare for life without Luis Suarez who has recently joined Barcelona for a fee believed to be £75million pounds.
Arsenal in advanced talks to sign Sami Khedira
Arsenal are reported to be in advanced talks to sign World Cup winner Sami Khedira from Real Madrid, after the two sides agreed a deal for the star.
Sport stated Real Madrid and Arsenal had reached an agreement regarding the price for Khedira and Arsenal are now pressing on with their pursuit, as they intend to seal the transfer as quickly as they can.
Compatriots Mesut Ozil, Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesaker have been trying to persuade their international colleague to seal a switch to North London and the Gunners are growing increasingly confident of securing a a deal.
Khedira is likely to become the highest earner at Arsenal should he arrive from Real Madrid in a deal that would cost around £25m.
Diego Poyet completes West Ham transfer from Charlton
West Ham United have announced the signing of midfielder Diego Poyet. The 19-year-old joins on a four-year deal after his contract with Charlton Athletic expired and once the two clubs agreed an undisclosed compensation fee.
Poyet, who is the son of the former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur player Gustavo, who is now Sunderland head coach, made his first-team debut for Charlton in January and from a total of 23 appearances during the second half of the Championship last season he earned the club's player-of-the-year award.
Born in Zaragoza, Spain, where his father was playing, Poyet moved to London at the age of 2 when his dad signed for Chelsea. He has since gone to represent England at Under-16 and Under -17 levels.
He is West Ham manager Sam Allardyce's fourth signing this summer after Mauro Zarate, Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell from Ipswich Town.
Tom Ince snubs Inter for Hull because matches mean more to him than money
One is famed as a fashion capital, a city of chic, culture and cappuccinos, the other for fish, rugby league and John Prescott. Yet snubbing Inter Milan to join Hull City made perfect sense to Tom Ince.
Ince knows he would have had kudos and cash at his dad Paul’s former club, in the Italian city where he spent part of his early childhood. But he opted for the KC Stadium over the San Siro because matches mean more to him than money.
Ince will be a key player for Tigers boss Steve Bruce, whereas he knows he would have been a fringe figure at Inter. And the England Under-21 forward knows he needs regular top-flight football at this crucial stage of his career.
“At my age I have to think about football development. I’ve come here to be educated. Anyone can go to a status club and pick up five or six times more money than you could do in the UK, but I’m a footballing person. That’s why this move is right for me.”
Ince junior has made big calls before.
He quit Liverpool in 2011 to drop down to the Championship with Blackpool, where he scored 31 goals in 100 league games, because he wanted first-team football.
