S'porean boy is Asian UNO champ

Nine-year-old Nigel Ong Zhi Chen is Asia’s UNO Challenge Grand Champion.

He beat 2,059 other Singaporeans aged seven to 15 to represent Singapore in the finals of the UNO Challenge in Tokyo, Japan.

He then defeated other children from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia to become the grand champion.

The Ong family plays card and boardgames like UNO and Monopoly for fun, and did not "train" Nigel for the competition.
