Chunks of concrete fell off the building of Orchard Towers on Sunday morning.

According to stomper Svein Grande who uploaded a post on citizen journalism website Stomp on Sunday, it seemed that part of the "balcony" on one side had given way and smashed into the ground.

"A few minutes earlier and we might have cushioned the concrete's fall," said the 38-year-old IT director who was walking to his home behind Orchard Towers.
