Woman stands by her man after he loses leg in accident

He was six months away from his wedding when a tipper truck ran him over on July 1, causing him to lose part of his left leg.

In the hospital, Mr Mohd Aidil Khalip, 25, wondered if his fiancée and girlfriend of nine years, Miss Alizah Razali, would still have him.

“I asked her, given my situation, I understand if you think I’m not the right person.’

"But she said: 'It’s not your physical condition I’m looking at, it’s what’s inside'.”

Three and a half months after the accident, the couple said that the experience has only made them stronger.

Said Miss Alizah, 25: “I’m proud to be with him. If I were in his shoes, I don’t think I’d be able to handle the challenges so well.”
