Returning from lunch recently, I was upset to see a dent on my car's rear bumper.

I am a retiree and the thought of a huge repair bill was daunting. It took me a week to send the car to the Vantage Automative workshop in the Alexandra area for a quote.

Mr Lee Chew Chuan, the workshop's customer service adviser, attended to me. He told me it would be a personal claim against my policy as I did not have the other party's details.

What he did next surprised me. Though dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, he got on his knees and tried to push the dent out.

With the help of a technician, Mr Lee managed to push out the dent such that it was hardly visible.

What's more, he did not charge me a cent.

Thank you for being a shining example of good customer service.

See Soo Eng (Ms)
