A video uploaded on Facebook by "Sia JianHe" at 9.40pm on 22 October 2013 showed a man, dressed in blue denim, spitting twice at a woman, and spewing obscenities at passers-by at Woodlands bus interchange.
Facebook user "Sia JianHe" wrote that the man had asked a woman, dressed in blue, to queue behind him because he went off to "buy a drink at the shop nearby".
The man allegedlly spat on the woman multiple times before going up the bus. He proceeded to push the woman down the bus then spat on her multiple times again.
The man purportedly refused to alight the bus and blamed the driver for not moving off.
Other passengers had scolded the man for delaying the bus and he went on to argue with them. He also tried to board a bus but was stopped by others.
The video uploader also claimed that the man prevented a woman, dressed in green, from boarding a bus and spat on her face as well. The woman claimed molest but he denied it.
SMRT wrote that the incident is “currently under police investigation”.
