In October, Singapore Post (SingPost) is adding 10 more stations island-wide that allow customers to collect parcels from automated lockers nearest to their homes.
Five of these stations, dubbed PopStations (Pick your Own Parcel Station), are already in operation and SingPost expects to roll out 100 by 2014.
The free service has been available since March to select users of its vPost service, which helps online shoppers buy items from overseas.
When a parcel is ready for collection, customers will get an e-mail or text message with a code. Users just need to go to the PopStation they had selected, scan the code and a locker containing their package will pop open.
