200 Gundam robots to invade NEX

Over 200 Gundam robots will showcase their fighting prowess at NEX shopping mall in the form of model kit displays from Sept 21 to 29.

The biggest Gundam model kit building exhibition is making its pit-stop in Singapore for the first time, and aims to enthrall fans with a slew of activities, such as model kit displays of 70 local entries for the Gundam Builders World Cup (GBWC), a light and laser 3D hologram mapping show, and Gundam anime screening.

Two winners who will be crowned during the exhibition will go on to represent Singapore in the GBWC Finals held in Japan.

Visitors who purchase a minimum of $50 worth of Gundam products at the event will be able to redeem a pair of tickets for the Gundam anime screening, on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Besides the ever popular Gundam Image Girls, local cosplayer Clive Lee will debut his latest Gundam Banshee costume for the first time at the event.
