SMRT extends train and bus service hours on eve of Vesak Day

SMRT train services (North-South, East-West and Circle Lines) and selected bus services on the eve of Vesak Day, Thursday, May 23, will be available till 1.35am, Friday, May 24.

Extended train service hours on eve of Vesak Day

From City Hall Interchange, the last trains on all bounds will depart at 12.30am on May 24.

Passengers on last trains should note:

Last northbound train will connect to the last Circle Line trains at Bishan Interchange (service will end at Caldecott and Bartley) and Dhoby Ghaut Interchange (service will end at Tai Seng). There is no connection to eastbound and westbound train at Jurong East Interchange.

Last eastbound train will connect to the last Circle Line trains at Paya Lebar Interchange (service will end at Tai Seng and Mountbatten).

Last westbound train will connect to the last Circle Line trains at Buona Vista Interchange (service will end at Pasir Panjang and Botanic Gardens) and the last southbound train at Jurong East Interchange (service will end at Kranji).

Choa Chu Kang Interchange passengers on the last MRT train can connect to the last Bukit Panjang LRT train at 1.28am.

Last train timings between Expo and Changi Airport stations remain unchanged:

From Tanah Merah Station for Changi Airport Station: 11.50pm
From Changi Airport Station for Tanah Merah Station: 12.06am
From Expo Station for Tanah Merah Station: 12.11am
Extended feeder bus service hours on eve of Vesak Day

Passengers on the last trains can connect to the following feeder bus services till 1.35am on May 24. Details are as follow:

At Bukit Batok: Bus no. 173A, 189A, 941, 945, 947, last bus at 1.35am
At Choa Chu Kang: Bus no. 300, 302, 307, last bus at 1.30am
At Sembawang: Bus no. 859A, last bus at 1.20am
At Woodlands: Bus no. 901, 911, 912, 913, last bus at 1.15am
At Yishun: Bus no. 804, 812, last bus at 1.25am
