McDeliveries facing delays over demand for Hello Kitty toys

A promotion by fastfood chain McDonald's is causing its McDelivery service to jam up.

Customers are complaining of long waiting times over the phone and late deliveries from McDonald's outlets.

McDonald's is giving away the soft toys, which come in six different designs, over the next few weeks.

One cat, which comes in the form of a witch, is only available via McDelivery.

Customers writing on McDonald's Singapore facebook page say some deliveries are taking several hours. In some cases, people who called for deliveries around lunchtime say they are still waiting for their orders.( As at 5pm )
