Harimau Malaya were initially meant to take on arch-rivals Singapore in the Causeway Challenge - a two-legged friendly clash - on June 4 and 7, but instead, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) have scheduled a trip to Australia during that time.

Rajagobal's charges will face off against Sydney Olympic, Bonnyrigg White Eagles or Marconi Stallions, and the Canberra All-Stars, which is presumed to be a selection side.

Rajagobal has named a fairly strong squad, including Norshahrul Idlan Talaha, Safiq Rahim, Aidil Zafuan and Khairul Fahmi.

Despite struggling for form, Darul Takzim striker Safee Sali has also been called up, which is likely to incur the wrath of Sarawak fans who have been calling for the inclusion of Bobby Gonzales, whose 19 goals have fired the Crocs to promotion to the Malaysia Super League.

While he has largely gone for the familiar, Rajagobal did also bring in a number of newer faces in Darul Takzim full-back Farid Ramli, PKNS FC's on-loan attacking midfielder Nizad Ayub and Negri Sembilan's Nazrin Nawi.

There will also be plenty of interest over who will be in goal for Harimau Malaya, given Fahmi, Farizal Marlias and Norazlan Razali have all been given opportunites to shine in recent outings.
