DBS Marina Regatta kicks off at Marina Bay

The DBS Marina Regatta got off to a rousing start with a day of dragon boat racing.

More than 130 international and local teams are expected to take part in the two-day event. The 200-metre races flagged off on Saturday evening at Marina Bay.

In the corporate grand final, hosts DBS were above the rest in the water. They swept the women's and men's finals.

In the International Premier category, it was Indonesia's turn to dominate.

The women came on first to successfully defend their title. The men did likewise in the day's last event.

The 400-metre races will be run on Sunday.
