91.3 FM's morning radio show The Married Men has been pulled off air for 'inappropriate content'.
In a statement to the press, SPH Unionworks said that they had terminated their contract with The Married Men with immediate effect.
"The action was taken in connection with a 'Kena Pluck' segment aired on Thursday, during the Morning Drive Time show on Hot FM 91.3. The segment contained material that was wholly inappropriate on air and breached the terms of the contract," it explained.
Yahoo! SG understands that the termination came as a result of a prank played by The Married Men on Thursday morning during their "sabo(tage)"-style section 'Kena Pluck'.
During the segment, the radio DJs had called up a parent and told him that his son had been kissing other boys in kindergarten.
Fans on Facebook slammed the decision, with some saying that they would stop following Hot 91.3 fm in protest.
"TMM is the only reason I listened to this station. I think you guys can close shop.. Stupid (sic) decision ever," commented Facebook user Shahril Azizi on Hot 91.3 fm's Facebook page.
